‘Ceil’ has gone to live with Eoin and Enid near St Andrews, where she has all four paws firmly esconced under the table (and sometimes ON it!) in true Brittany style!
She goes huntin', shootin', and fishin' with her man, with a little bit of deer stalking for good measure.
As you can see she is also a good guard dog – in the photo above she is letting us know that the cat is on the prowl!
(In reality she and Sophie actually get on together very well.)
We mated her to our beautiful Fosscott Tricolour - Phlash Gordon (Flash) - and they gave us a lovely litter of 11 in July 2001. One of these, our own Aberdon Sgurr Mhairi (Freckles) has been awarded 2 Challenge Certificates, all fingers, toes and eyes are crossed in hope for a third! Her sisters, Aberdon Sgurr Fhuran (Soufee) and Aberdon Sron na BanRigh (Pebble) are also winning well.
Freckles in turn gave us a very even litter to Sting (Fosscott Varden)
of two boys and four girls, one of which, Bena, is owned by Pamela and Simon
